For Immediate Release - May 4, 2009 Theatre Ontario Welcomes New Membership CoordinatorTheatre Ontario welcomes Mandy Rumbolt, who is joining the organization in the new role of Membership Coordinator. Mandy is a graduate of York University and has worked as an arts administrator in Toronto and New York, most recently as assistant to the Membership Manager and Development Coordinator of the Dancer Transition Resource Centre.
“We are thrilled to have Mandy join our office. She brings a solid background in theatre practice and training, as well as experience working with members and donors,” said John H. Goddard, Executive Director. “This increase in the resources available to Theatre Ontario members would not be possible without the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation to which we are most grateful.” Mandy graduated from York University with a focus on theatre and arts administration. She completed a six-month internship at PERFORMA in New York, a non-profit interdisciplinary performing arts organization, where she assisted in the development and implementation of their new membership program. Following that, she worked at the Dancer Transition Resource Centre, responsible for coordinating and managing membership enrolment and recruitment initiatives. “I'm delighted to be joining the team at Theatre Ontario, and look forward to working with, and for, the members of our theatre community,” said Mandy. The Membership Coordinator position is a new role at Theatre Ontario, and is funded through a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF).
