Weekend Retreat

Theatre Ontario presents our Weekend Retreat courses for community theatre company members to study areas specifically designed for community theatre practitioners.

At this residential programme, participants will also:

• relax in a comfortable rural setting, free from distractions and focus on the content
• enjoy good quality accommodation and 3 meals a day plus snacks and refreshments
• be centrally located for ease of transportation/access
• share with like-minded people their needs and challenges, as well as their solutions
• have appropriate space for large and small group interaction
• have some “down time” as well, to appreciate their relaxed surroundings

Courses

For 2010, Theatre Ontario is offering two courses:

• Bums In Seats: How To Make The Most Of A Limited Advertising Budget
• Leader Of The Pack: Stage Management For Community Theatres

Courses run from Friday, May 7 at 5:00pm to Sunday, May 9 at 3:00pm and are held at Geneva Park, Orillia

Cancellation Policy

Payments are non-refundable after April 9, 2010.  Any cancellation must be in writing.  Theatre Ontario assumes no responsibility for personal injury, however incurred, nor for the loss of personal effects during attendance at the courses.  You must inform Theatre Ontario of any medical conditions which may affect your participation and of which your instructor should be aware.  Theatre Ontario reserves the right to withdraw any course with full course refund.
