In the last 40 years your support has created and developed unique programs that nourish the theatre community across the province. We are asking you to join us in celebrating our 40th anniversary by ensuring that Theatre Ontario’s positive impact continues for another 40 years, with a $40 gift to match our 40 years of service!

What’s Going on Behind The Scenes…
Theatre Ontario is busy everyday helping thousands of theatre artists, youth, educators, and enthusiasts bring their dreams to life, and to the stage! Our members make up the exciting and diverse theatre community that entertains and engages us all – from the community halls and the classrooms to the smallest studios and the biggest auditoriums.
WE ARE TRAINING… the youth who will become the artists and leaders of tomorrow, the professional and community theatre practitioners that enrich our arts, and the educators who share their skill and knowledge.
WE ARE SUPPORTING… the emerging artists, arts professionals, and arts communities that are vital to Ontario’s culture.
WE ARE ADVOCATING… on behalf of theatre practitioners across Ontario to ensure that theatre is a viable, rewarding, safe, and respected artistic practice and professional field.
We are working hard to make theatre in Ontario possible.

Our donors are the individuals Behind The Scenes, bringing theatre to the stages across the province. Donations made to our Behind The Scenes campaign bring education, career development, resources, and networking opportunities to the theatre organizations, individuals, professionals and enthusiasts that make up the vibrant and diverse theatre community of Ontario. We need you Behind The Scenes to keep theatre the exhilarating, passionate, and exciting experience that it is.
Donors will receive a tax receipt, the Backstage enewsletter, and recognition on our website, in our office, and at all Theatre Ontario special events.
