So you want to direct a play but wonder if you have what it takes.  This course will cover all the basics, from selecting a suitable play, through the audition process, blocking, pacing, interpretation, handling pressures, time-management as the big night approaches, - right up to opening night.  It will be a script based course, covering a range of genres and highlighting the different approaches required for each. A course to help the new director understand his/her responsibilities and techniques as well as the optimum methodology to achieve one’s own artistic vision through the creative skills of other people.
