Introducing Community Theatre Forums

Theatre Ontario is launching a series of community theatre forums to provide a platform for discussion.  The objective of these sessions is to gain insight into the key challenges and areas of opportunity that face community theatre in Ontario.  Topics will include audience development, membership engagement, and workshop/education needs.

Our first session, in partnership with ACT-CO, the Association of Community Theatres--Central Ontario, is on April 22 in Aurora and will be facilitated by Executive Director Carol Beauchamp, and Lucy White, Executive Director of PACT, the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres.

The second will be held at Theatre Ontario Festival in Kingston on May 18, facilitated by Carol, and Deb Sholdice, General Manager of the Blyth Festival and Theatre Ontario Board member.

We look forward to announcing more Community Theatre Forums in southwestern, eastern, and northern Ontario.
