Janet Kish

Janet_KishJanet taught Drama for 33 years with the Toronto and Scarborough Boards.  She is the former Curriculum Leader of the Arts for the renowned Claude Watson Arts Program and the former Drama Head at Sir Oliver Mowat, as well as a long time executive member of Sears Drama Festival.  In addition to teaching, Janet is an accomplished playwright, director, adjudicator and a passionate advocate for excellence in the arts.  She is now fully immersed as an independent artist in the Toronto theatre community as a director, playwright, actor, drama coach, workshop leader and a guest artist in the schools.  Janet recently co-authored the textbook Rattling the Stage and its accompanying teacher resource published by McGraw-Hill Ryerson and soon to be online with Apple iBooks.
