Do You Need Help Finding Your Authentic Voice? If so, spend time with ACTING POWERHOUSE Elley Ray! You are guaranteed to have a blast! In this intensive, you will learn how to connect more deeply with your text and truly UNLOCK YOUR AUTHENTIC VOICE so that you can bring something unique to every audition, job or demo! Elley-Ray will walk you through exercises (focusing on rhythm, tone, pitch, speed, volume and emotional switching), cover many techniques and incorporate games to help dig deeper to uncover abilities and create new characters that you didn't even know you had! It's time to PLAY the instrument! You will also learn how to properly catalog your newfound abilities and characters so that you can bring them out for your next audition, job or demo. Everyone will walk away with new characters and easy to remember "actor hacks" that they can tap into whenever they need them! This course is suitable for all levels and all actors - voiceover artists, on stage actors and on camera actors!

Meet the Instructor...

Elley-RayElley-Ray is a 30 year veteran of stage, screen, and voice. She recently was awarded Honorary Doctorate from the University of Windsor for her work in the arts and humanitarian accomplishments. Recent on-screen roles include The Hive with Don McKellar and a miniseries- "Insomnia" in Russia. For her 20 year board support of Buddies in Bad Times, she was celebrated with dressing rooms in her name and is also the yearly Red Carpet host for the Dora Mavor Moore Awards. A juror for the daytime Emmy Awards, her voice credits include shows like: The Becky and Bagel Show, Little Charmers, Bubbles Biederbaum for The Cat in the Hat Halloween Special & Animal & Crackerz.

Participation in these courses is for those 16 years of age and older (participants under the age of 19 will require a waiver signed by a guardian).

Withdrawal Policy:

Payments are non-refundable after June 22, 2018. Any cancellation must be in writing. Theatre Ontario reserves the right to withdraw any course with full course refund.
