Grant Writing Information Sessions

For Theatre Individuals and Groups

Looking for tips and must-dos for preparing an application to the Ontario Arts Council?

Pat Bradley, Theatre Officer of the Ontario Arts Council, will share her perspective, information, and tips about project grants, particularly the OAC’s three theatre project programs:

  • Theatre Projects
  • Playwright Residency
  • Theatre Creators’ Reserve

Individual artists, collectives, and ad hoc groups are eligible for project grants, with emerging, mid-career, and senior theatre artists able to apply.  Applications are available on line at

This is an information session for those with limited grant writing experience and/or knowledge of Ontario Arts Council programs. At the in-person presentations, there will be time for a Q & A.

"Fantastic, informative, humourous, helpful. Good structure."

"It gave me the confidence to apply…because there are people who care about the arts on the other side."
