Costin Manu, Executive Director

Responsible for:

Costin Manu is a versatile actor, director, teacher and an arts management professional. Over the last 30 years, he has produced over 50 plays and musicals and directed almost as many, from classics to Shakespeare, comedies, farces and dramas. He was the founding Managing & Artistic Director of Victoria Playhouse Petrolia and held the same position at Theatre Cambridge.

His international work began as Executive Director of the Sandusky State Theatre in Ohio and then as Managing Director of the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts. Back in Ontario, he led the Rose Theatre Brampton’s Programming, Marketing and Development departments for many years, was Manager of Programming and Community Engagement at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre and was Associate Artistic Director of the First Stages Theatre Company in Toronto and Port Hope.

Costin is a former member of the Board of Directors of Third Culture Theatre, a Toronto theatre company producing shows that view the classics through a multicultural lens. He was a member of the Board of Directors of The Foster Festival in St. Catharines and of the Burlington New Millennium Orchestra.



Raeburn Ferguson, Professional Theatre and Education Manager

Responsible for the Professional and Educational Theatre sectors, providing career counseling, professional development and managing the following programs:

Raeburn Ferguson is a director, choreographer, performer and creator. She has held educational training positions at The Harbourfront Centre, The Living Arts Centre and has worked across the GTA delivering programming in both private and public schools. Her quest for continuing knowledge has led her to NYC, where she participated in the Broadway Teacher Training program and to London where she took Theatre Ontario’s own Adjudication course. Raeburn has started her own immersive theatre company, whose mandate focuses on bridging the gap between audience member and performer. Raeburn is passionate about arts education and programming and wishes to make theatre and performance development accessible to all those who seek it.

Brandon Moore, Community Theatre and Communications Manager

Responsible for the Community Theatre sector, providing counseling, artistic and organizational development, and managing the following programs:

Also responsible for managing Theatre Ontario’s Communications Centre.

Brandon is an award-winning director, actor, and stage manager. He has been honoured with life memberships at both The Curtain Club theatre in Richmond Hill and the Association of Community Theatres—Central Ontario for his service to those community theatre organizations. He has served on many theatre committees, including Executive, Finance, Festival, Play Selection, Member Engagement and Nominating. A graduate of Carleton University’s school of journalism, he first served on Theatre Ontario's Board of Directors, before joining the staff in 2004.
