Mary Jane Boon, Executive Director

Responsible for:

Mary Jane Boon B.Sc., CPA, CMA (Newmarket) is the former Canadian CFO of Ammeraal Beltech Inc., a global leader in the conveyor belting industry. Mary Jane earned a B.Sc. from McMaster University and after years of working in finance departments, completed her Certified Professional Accountant designation. She has built a resume of experience with privately- and publically-owned corporations as well as not-for-profit organizations. In addition to the development of her financial management career, she has been active with community theatres for over twenty years. Mary Jane is an award-winning lighting and set designer, working with a number of theatre groups throughout the Greater Toronto Area. In addition, she was involved with the administration of The Curtain Club in Richmond Hill and is a past President of that organization.



Rachel Kennedy, Professional Theatre and Education Manager

Responsible for the Professional and Educational Theatre sectors, providing career counseling, professional development and managing the following programs:

Rachel is a recent graduate of York University's theatre program, where she developed a passion for arts administration. Since graduating she has produced, directed, and stage managed for various theatre companies in Toronto while working as the Outreach and Development Coordinator for Playwrights Guild of Canada. Rachel is looks forward to fostering opportunities for professional development to both established and emerging artists across the province.

Brandon Moore, Community Theatre and Communications Manager

Responsible for the Community Theatre sector, providing counseling, artistic and organizational development, and managing the following programs:

Also responsible for managing Theatre Ontario’s Communications Centre.

Brandon is an award-winning director, actor, and stage manager. He has been honoured with life memberships at both The Curtain Club theatre in Richmond Hill and the Association of Community Theatres—Central Ontario for his service to those community theatre organizations. He has served on many theatre committees, including Executive, Finance, Festival, Play Selection, Member Engagement and Nominating. A graduate of Carleton University’s school of journalism, he first served on Theatre Ontario's Board of Directors, before joining the staff in 2004.
